I used to work in basic biological research and then in the recycling and wastewater industry. Today, I am retired, involved in the social sector and rely on the power of grassroots movements for our world of tomorrow.
The website was born out of the question of what kind of a world my three little grandchildren will meet when they grow up.
Website Overview
The website is an attempt to make the highly complex topic of sustainability understandable in a global context. It is aimed at people who, despite the enormous scale of ecological challenges worldwide, are boldly looking into the future.
Humanity is at a critical turning point: the ecological limits of our planet have been exceeded. Our current way of living and doing business leads to overuse of resources, pollution, loss of biodiversity, and growing inequality. This creates a real risk of system collapse.
To counter this, we need a fundamental change in economics, politics, and society. The goal is to build a more sustainable, resilient economy that balances environmental responsibility, social fairness, and economic stability.
In short: without swift and decisive action and structural changes, we risk losing our livelihoods.
